NekoCon is back for its 28th year! Join us for a weekend of anime, cosplay, panels, and community. This year's theme is The Rise of Purrzilla — a legendary tale of NekoCon's forgotten mascot returning after 17 years. Come be part of the story!
Margins & Moonlight — Friday Night
An all-ages book fair at the Margins & Moonlight Richmond fundraising event, produced by Piedmont Center for Sustainability. Features 50+ authors, literary vendors, mobile book trucks, food trucks, author panels, a community book drive, literary cosplay, and a Richmond literary scavenger hunt. Friday night runs from 5:00–10:00 PM.

Books & Booze: A Night for Lit Lovers — Stock up your summer reading list and sip something delicious at this laid-back night dedicated to all things literature. Browse, shop, and discover your next favorite read while enjoying specialty themed cocktails. Tickets are $5 in advance ($10 at the door) and include an unlimited video game play card (valid on non-redemption games only) and access to local book vendors & pop-ups. Must be 21+ to purchase alcohol.

Grimoire's Gothic Market — inspired by pop culture and classics like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Classic Horror, and American Horror Story. A folklore-themed market featuring Halloween, horror, witches, vampires, tarot, dark fairytale works, crystals, candles, handmade goods, and more. Gothic or formal attire encouraged. Tickets required in advance.
